The Yorkshire Dales change with the seasons, and we have enjoyed the different aspects of the landscape over the years.  Every season brings something special: snow and dramatic skies in winter; springtime lambs; summer wildflowers with visiting swallows and swifts, and the splendour of autumn colours.

Old Mill 1 provides a perfect base at any time of year.  The covered parking means you can be sheltered from the rain while you unload your car, and the log burner provides cosy warmth on a chilly evening; while the rear courtyard garden is a suntrap on a fine day as you sit and watch the swifts and swallows wheeling above you.
